First of all, NEVER believe what a girl tells you; instead, read her body language/signals.

Perfect Example: A girl wants to mess around, but doesn't want to portray the slut image. She'll give you some BS answer, but if you're reading her body language, what she says doesn't matter because she wants to.

And secondly, this girl is stringing you along. If she wants to make out with you, she'd do it, wtf does her ex have to do with anything? If they broke up, what's the problem? I smell attention whore. From your description, this is the kind of girl that LOVES attention from guys. She loves to know that she can still get them, and always has guys following her around trying to get her. She leads them all on and loves the position of power. You should've broke this chick down early, but it's to late. Move on.

Now I'm not so concerned that she sits with you for an hour, what my concern is that you spend an hour with her! WTF are you doing??? Knock that off! Why don't you just tell her you want to be best friends and you know you have no chance with her at all?

If you're sitting next to your friend, how would she not know you're there? ugh anyways, that's besides the point.

Stop listening to what girls say and start reading their signals/body language. And please don't ask me how to read it, it's all already on this site.
